The Costa Blanca in
blessed with some of the finest golf clubs and
courses to be found anywhere in Spain. Next to
that Spain has also
produced some of the best golfers including Seve
Balasteros and Sergio Garcia.
If you are lucky enough to get the chance to
play golf at one of the golf courses and
have the opportunity to travel around then try
to play some of the great courses that
offer a challenge to golfers with both low and
high handicaps.
The vast changes in landscape
and terrain make them a true
pleasure to play. |

Many golf clubs in Spain will offer
also tuition
courses or private golf lessons, if you whish to
enhance your game, or intent to try out this fantastic sport.
If you need help with specific
aspects of your game the golf professionals at
each course will be able to arrange
lessons which will allow you to cover
that part of your golf game. |

You can pre book your golf tee times at all courses. If
you have limited time available then you can book this directly with the club
house or through our Golf service at the Hotel. Very often we can offer
discounts on your green fees at the below mentioned golf courses who are all
within 20 minutes from our Hotel. It is often the
case that if you are in holiday with your family it may be only you playing
golf. This is not a problem as most golf clubs try to get a 3 or 4 ball out and
it works very well for all concerned.
It is also worth checking out whether a course
has any regular competitions as the more popular courses have weekly or
bi-weekly competitions that members of the public can enter.
You will need a handicap
certificate to enter the competition and there
is usually a nominal fee charged in addition to
the green fee to cover the prizes that are
offered.
The good thing about entering these
competitions is that the course is usually
blocked booked to allow the competition entrants
to tee off together so good tee times can be
secured.

Generally at the Costa Blanca if you book a tee time you will receive complimentary access
to the golf practice facilities including the
driving range, putting green and chipping
greens. The driving range will make a nominal
charge for practice golf balls.
You can also hire golf equipment e.g. clubs,
buggies, trolleys and the golf pro shop will
provide balls and tees etc. However if you
intend to play more than one round of golf at
any course then you should consider taking you
own golf clubs, as the cost can be prohibitive.
This of course should be balanced against the
cost of the charge that the airline will make
for taking your golf bag on the flight.

Golf La Finca

It is a young course that opened its
doors in August of 2002. Since then it has
demonstrated to be the one golf course to offer the
most possibilities in the entire Costa Blanca.
La Finca golf course offers 18 holes + 1, each
one designed by the prestigious Spanish designer
Pepe Gancedo. It is a course with generous fairways
and spectacular greens because of its design and
variety of contours.
Among the
most interesting aspects of this course are; the green on the 7th hole, completely
squared and surrounded by a spectacular bunker.
Between
the 5th and 6th holes, is also a beautiful
lake with several waterfalls on their left side.
This lake provides these holes not only with a
water hazard, but also an added beauty that
complements this already gorgeous course.

The VILLAMARTIN golf course has an extraordinary design and
unmatched setting undoubtedly make this course one
of the best golf courses in Spain. Its well-rooted
and mature vegetation of over 35 years provides a

use of every club in the bag. The greens are wonderfully designed and have

The golf course is located
in the axis of development for the
Orihuela Coast and the southern Costa

Las Ramblas golf course has incomparable beauty and as
its name indicates, has been developed on a steep terrain
surrounded by watercourses. The vigorous vegetation
surrounding the course is formed primarily of leafy
Mediterranean pines that create an unforgettable backdrop

Furthermore, the golf course offers
Magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea from many
locations.
Thanks to the course´s leafy vegetation, there are

Las Ramblas golf course is located along the
access road to the town of San Miguel de
Salinas.
This golf course has very good access, both
by road as well as by air with two important
airports nearby: Alicante's El Altert and San
